It’s that time of year again, when we are very pleased to announce the launch of our Welcome Gym Member Of The Year 2019 competition.

This is a fantastic chance for our members to nominate themselves, a family member, friend or colleague to be recognised and rewarded as our Member Of The Year. If you have (or someone you know has) achieved something truly amazing over the past year - relating to health, fitness and wellbeing - then we want to hear from you.

Our personal trainers and staff teams will also be speaking to members and suggesting nominations for those people that have made outstanding progress this year, whether this relates to their recovery from injury or illness, training for an event or transforming their life through beneficial weight loss or weight gain. Nominations will be accepted via our Facebook and Instagram social media channels and in nomination boxes in the clubs. The more detail you can add to your story, the more we can understand and appreciate the journey you have been through this year; so don’t be too modest!

The deadline for entries is midnight on 31st May 2019, after which time the nominations will be collated. A CLUB WINNER will be announced at each of our gyms by mid June, chosen by each club's Manager and their team. There'll be a photo opportunity, when each club Manager congratulates their individual gym's CLUB MEMBER OF THE YEAR and awards them with their prize of a FREE ANNUAL GYM MEMBERSHIP.

All Club Member Of The Year winners will then go forward to be judged anonymously at the quarterly Senior Managers' meeting, when one lucky contestant will be chosen to win the title of WELCOME GYM MEMBER OF THE YEAR 2019 for the whole group. Some fantastic prizes are on offer, including Holiday Vouchers and Free Fitness Kit.

Our group winner will be announced by the end of June 2019. So, go on – if you’ve outdone yourself this year, or you know someone who really is a worthy potential winner, nominate them to become our MEMBER OF THE YEAR 2019!*
