TASK 3 - Bring a Buddy On Your Join, Like, Learn Journey
Your third task in the seven-week Welcome Gym Join, Like, Learn Fitness Challenge is to bring a friend, colleague or family member into the gym to introduce them into the world of fitness and try a partner workout.
Entering a gym for the first time can be very daunting for the uninitiated. Will it be full of perfect and super fit people? Will I be expected to use complicated fitness equipment? Will everyone stare or laugh at me? By bringing along someone who hasn’t tried a gym before, you can not only reassure them and reduce their fears, but also pass on and reinforce your own enthusiasm for fitness.
So get your mum, sister, best mate or work buddy to come along and try a free session, working out together – details can be obtained at Reception.
And, don't forget to ask a member of the fitness team to stamp your Join, Like Learn reward card afterwards.
