We’re very pleased that you’ve joined one of our affordable, accessible and well-equipped gyms, and decided to become more proactive in making your personal health and fitness an important part of your lifestyle. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who’s reached a plateau and needs to re-focus their efforts to reach their fitness goals, we’re looking forward to helping and encouraging you during your membership and following your progress over the coming months.
A few things you need to know:
When can I start? You can start exercising immediately! Please visit your club and register your fingerprint with a member of our team. As a paid-up member, your biometric fingerprint scan allows you quick and easy access through the turnstiles with no need for a membership card.
Communication• A complete guide to your gym can be found on our website:
https://www.welcomegym.co.uk/• We recommend that you save your club’s email address in your online address book or your 'safe senders list'. This will ensure that the emails we send you about your membership won't be mistakenly sent to your 'Junk' folder.
• To view your membership details, book and cancel classes and communicate with your club, you just need to log in to the Members’ portal on our website, using your email address and the unique password that you set up as part of the joining process.
Can I have some help to get me started?Group introductions to the gym can be booked through the Members' portal (see above). Attending a Gym Intro is advisable, but not compulsory, if you have completed our medical questionnaire. Once you have joined and registered your fingerprint, you are more than welcome to just start using the gym.
How do I store my belongings?Fitness4Less provides changing rooms and lockers to store your clothes and valuables, which are ONLY for use while you’re in the club. Please don’t leave belongings in the changing rooms for longer than your workout. Any valuables left overnight in the lockers will be removed to lost property.
Our lockers are secured using combination locks, which we sell from the vending machines in Reception. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring a padlock with you from elsewhere, but please ensure it has a shackle of at least 8mm.
Personal TrainingMost of our gyms have an in-house team of well-qualified and enthusiastic personal trainers, who will help to make you feel supported, motivated and inspired to achieve the results you’re looking for. These Personal Trainers are self-employed, although you may see them teaching some of the free classes that are available as part of your gym membership. You can view their profiles through the Training tab on our website and you can contact them directly to discuss your requirements, either by leaving a message to make an appointment or by approaching them in the gym for a chat.
Last but not least, good luck! If you have any questions about your membership, how to use particular items of equipment or any other relevant details, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff for help.
